Umar Akmal Biography
Umar Akmal, brother of Kmaran and Adnan Akmal, born on May 26, 1990 at Lahore. He is rapidly emerging test cricketer of Pakistani national team. He showed his brilliant performance in Under 19 level cricket and participated in the Under 19 world cup held in Malaysia. He also played domestic cricket and scored double century and a century in a season. Then he was chosen for the national team. He made debut in One Day International matches while playing against Sri Lanka on August 1, 2009. He played his first ever test match against New Zealand on November 23, 2009. He played some beautiful innings and help Pakistan in wining various matches. He is also a part time bowler and in some ODI matches he did the responsibility of wicket keeping.
